After completing her communication traineeship program at Equinet in June 2023, Chiara became Equinet’s communication officer. In this capacity, she works on raising the visibility of Equinet and its members through the dissemination of publications, activities, and events.

Chiara holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in Human Rights Studies from Lund University. Her Master’s thesis focused on the political discussion about the Italian Zan law, which aims at fighting homophobia, transphobia, misogyny and ableism.

Chiara has a strong interest in gender equality and LGBTIQ+ rights. She has been volunteering for a few civil society organizations, from Amnesty International Sweden to smaller NGOs, and for two Pride events.

Fun fact: Chiara is obsessed with the color blue, and she has been dying her hair turquoise for 6 years.
