Equality Bodies working on cases without an identifiable victim: Actio popularis

This Equinet discussion paper gives an overview of the legal standing of Equality Bodies across Europe and by sharing cases in which Equality Bodies used actio popularis, explains why this is a power that needs to be given to all Equality Bodies in Europe.

It is a publication by the Equinet Equality Law in Practice Working Group and it was prepared with the contribution of 20 Equality Bodies. The following Working Group members drafted the chapters of the discussion paper:
