Equality and intersectional discrimination faced by persons with disabilities in the EU: Joint Briefing

Persons with disabilities living in the European Union (EU) continue to face discrimination, including denial of reasonable accommodation, harassment and multiple and intersectional forms of discrimination in all areas of their lives. This document aims to inform the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD Committee) list of questions prior to reporting for the second review of the EU by the CRPD Committee. The text focuses on  issues of inequality and intersectional discrimination faced by persons with disabilities with intersectional identities in the EU.
