Equinet Highlights 2020

Our Annual Report shares the highlights of our work in 2020, focusing on three main highlights based on the work of Equinet and national equality bodies, namely:

1. The response of national equality bodies to Covid-19 and how they offered support to vulnerable groups and people to protect and promote equality in society
2. The importance of strong equality legislation and infrastructure, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the EU’s Race Equality Directive
3. The potential and risks of digitalisation, as well as actionable steps and good practices by members as guidance on better understanding the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, on equality
