On 23-24 September 2014 in Warsaw, Equinet, with the support and hosting of the Polish Human Rights Defender, is organising a training event on harassment and sexual harassment on the basis of gender.
OBJECTIVES
This training aims at exploring effective approaches and activities equality bodies can put in place to:
- Have a clear identification of the prevalence of harassment and sexual harassment (H&SH) on the basis of gender and the underlying dynamics
- Support employers, providers of goods and services and education institutions put in place procedures avoiding harassment and sexual harassment
- Support a culture of rights which recognises and refuses harassment and sexual harassment.
The Equinet training strives to provide equality body staff members with a space for peer learning and for discussing key challenges as well as good practices in the field. The training is interdisciplinary and aims at intersecting policy, promotional, communication and legal approaches.
