The European Network of Equality Bodies promotes equality in Europe by supporting Equality Bodies to be independent and effective catalysts for more equal societies; where equality is a reality for everyone, diversity is valued, and all forms of discrimination have been eliminated.

They are independent organisations protecting and assisting victims of discrimination, monitoring and reporting on discrimination issues. They play a fundamental role in the non-discrimination architecture of the EU.
